Forklift Driver

Licence Required

Operating a forklift truck requires a high risk work licence — class LF, or class LO for order-picking forklifts (stock pickers). Pallet trucks and pedestrian-operated trucks do not need a licence. The licence is issued by the state regulator after a national assessment.

Anyone doing construction work also needs a White Card (general construction induction).
